The owner and principal physiotherapist at Main Physiotherapy, Kerrin Blakeney, was born and bred on the Tablelands. Before the creation of Main Physiotherapy, Kerrin was working hard to achieve a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree (Bond University), a Bachelor of Exercise Science degree (Griffith University) and a degree in Psychological Science (Griffith University).
Although Kerrin has since returned to his home on the Tablelands, he has previously worked extensively at the Wesley hospital in Brisbane, as well as Physique Health on the beautiful Mt Tambourine. He has and continues to spend numerous hours with local sporting clubs as a sports trainer and physiotherapist.
Kerrin travelled North with a vision for starting his own Physiotherapy practice that strives to deliver personal, hands-on and effective physical treatment – Main Physiotherapy. The one-person practice officially opened on the 7th April 2014 and has since expanded into a professional treatment centre offering a diversity of treatments to patients by four fully accredited physiotherapists and employing over four office staff.
Kerrin continues to practice at Main Physiotherapy and has specific interest in headaches and neck pain, shoulder/knee and all back pain, hip/buttock pain, feet/gait dysfunctions, vertigo/dizziness, disease and injury rehabilitation, as well as general fitness.
